As a safety feature the motor will not operate if the lid is open.Rubber footplate keeps unit stable and deadens vibration.Smooth, durable ABS finish is easy to clean.Â
Includes three rotors: two glass-filled polycarbonate circular rotors and one polycarbonate strip tube rotor. Circular, six-place, one-size rotor spins six 1.5- and 0.5/0.2-mL tubes; use with adapters to spin six 0.4- and 0.5-mL tubes. Circular, six-place, dual-size rotor spins three 0.4- and 0.5-mL tubes as well as three 1.5- and 2.0-mL tubes. Strip rotor accepts 2* 8 x 0.2-mL PCR tube strips or 16 individual 0.2-mL PCR tubes.
Timer can be set for 1-99 minutes and includes a hold function for longer spins
