How to maintain the engine

1. 2. Regularly changing the oil and filter The quality of the oil will change during use. After a certain mileage, performance deteriorates, causing various problems for the engine. In order to avoid the occurrence of failure, it is necessary to change the oil regularly in combination with the conditions of use, and to make the amount of oil moderate (usually the upper limit of the oil scale is good). When the oil passes through the fine pores of the filter, solid particles and viscous substances in the oil accumulate in the filter. If the filter is blocked and the oil cannot pass through the filter element, it will burst the filter element or open the safety valve. Passing the bypass valve will still bring the dirt back to the lubrication area, which will cause the engine to wear out and the internal pollution will increase.
3. Keep the crankcase well ventilated Most petrol engines now have a PCV valve (positive crankcase ventilation) to force the engine to ventilate, but contaminants in the helium gas “can deposit around the PCV valve, which may clog the valve. PCV valve plugging will pollute the gas flow into the air filter, contaminate the filter element, so that the filter capacity is reduced, the mixture is inhaled dirty, causing more pollution of the crankcase, resulting in increased fuel consumption, increased engine wear, and even damage to the engine Therefore, the PCV must be regularly maintained to remove contaminants around the PCV valve.
4. Periodically clean the crankcase engine During operation, the high-pressure unburned gases, acids, moisture, sulfur, and nitrogen oxides in the combustion chamber enter the crankcase through the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall and wear out with the parts. The metal powders are mixed together to form sludge. When the amount is small, it will be suspended in the oil. When the amount is large, it will precipitate from the oil and clog the filter and the oil hole, causing the engine to be difficult to lubricate and cause wear. In addition, the oxidation of the engine oil at high temperatures generates a film of paint and carbon deposits on the piston, which increases the engine's fuel consumption and power. In severe cases, the piston rings become stuck and pull the cylinder. Therefore, use BGl05 (highly efficient and quick cleaning agent for the lubrication system) to clean the crankcase regularly to keep the inside of the engine clean.
5. Regular cleaning of the fuel system During the combustion of fuel through the oil circuit to the combustion chamber, inevitably colloids and carbon deposits are formed and deposited in the oil passages, carburetors, injectors and combustion chambers. Fuel flow, damage to normal air-fuel ratio, poor fuel atomization, resulting in performance problems such as engine vibration, detonation, unsteady idle speed, and poor acceleration. Clean the fuel system with the BG208, a powerful and efficient cleaning system for the fuel system, and regularly use the BG202 to control the buildup of carbon deposits to keep the engine in top condition at all times.
6. Regular maintenance of water tank Engine tank rust and scaling are the most common problems. Rust and scale can limit the flow of coolant in the cooling system, reduce heat dissipation, cause the engine to overheat, and even cause engine damage. Coolant oxidation also forms acidic substances that corrode the metal parts of the tank, resulting in breakage and leakage of the tank. Regular use of BG540 (water tank strong and efficient cleaning agent) to clean the water tank to remove rust and scale, not only ensure the normal operation of the engine, but also extend the overall life of the tank and engine.

Conveying and Transfer Conveyors:

Inclined and vertical conveying:

Quantum have designed and installed both vertical and inclined screw conveyor systems. It is recommended to design all incline conveyors without using an intermediate bearing, if possible and to keep incline to less than 75o for optimum efficiency. Whether your application requires a tubular inclined conveyor or trough conveyor, Quantum will select the most suitable conveyor for your application that is suited to the material characteristics, environment, length conveyed and your specific needs such as clean down and residue. Efficiency of vertical conveyors can be as little as 10% and generally require specific design considerations; the nature of material and feed method. Horizontal transfer conveyors

A single conveyor can incorporate several hanger bearings over length in access of 100m. However length is very much dependent on the nature and characteristics of the material and the conveying capacity. Some materials cannot be successfully conveyed using any hanger bearings, whilst other materials will accommodate several hanger bearings trouble free. Our hopper and Bin dischargers are used when non free flowing materials need to be discharged from hoppers or storage bins. Size and quantity of screws depend on the hopper configuration and the material characteristics. Using multiple screw dischargers can increase volume of hoppers whilst ensuring a positive discharge of material at a controlled out feed. Each screw can be independently powered or interlocked with one or two drive assemblies depending on loading and capacity of the system.

Generally installed with slow speed counter rotating screw flights that can be over locked for maximum discharging capabilities they are variable pitch or variable flight diameters to ensure even material discharge across hopper.


Heating and Cooling Jackets
