For example, valves used in many key projects of the country, such as high-parameter, environmental protection, and energy-saving valves, are still heavily dependent on imports. Reliance on imports is always easy to get stuck. As a modern big country and a big consumer country, it is not enough to achieve the continuous improvement of the level of technical equipment. The introduction of foreign advanced technology and equipment is not enough. We must accelerate the research and development of domestic advanced technology and equipment and change the status of this dependence. In order to fundamentally change the status of dependence, China's valve companies must understand the localization of the valves of the country's key industries and projects. As a result, efforts have been made to achieve full localization of Chinese valves.

Coal Chemicals In order to meet the needs of China's energy structure adjustment, research and development of large-scale coal chemical complete sets of equipment has been listed as one of the 16 major technical and equipment tasks developed by the “Eleventh Five-Year†countries and localization of large-scale coal chemical complete sets of equipment. It is also the focus of future work.
The rapid development of large-scale coal chemical industry requires corresponding technical equipment support, especially coal-to-oil, methanol, synthetic ammonia, coal-to-olefin and other coal chemical industries require a large number of large-scale coal chemical complete sets of equipment. The localization of related technology and equipment is an important measure to reduce investment in projects, save foreign exchange, and improve industrial competitiveness. In addition, the National Development and Reform Commission initially proposed plans to use the coal liquefaction method to produce 60 million tons of oil products annually by 2015, with a total investment of about RMB 420 billion, of which equipment investment will account for about RMB 200 billion. At present, the Shenhua 5 million-ton product-grade large-scale coal-to-oil project has started construction and progressed smoothly in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. It is estimated that the total investment will be approximately 35 billion yuan. In addition, projects under construction and preparation include the Shenhua North Shaanxi Yulin coal liquefaction project and the Chinese Academy of Sciences coalification liquefaction expansion project. Coal-to-petroleum (liquefied by coal liquefaction) is a key technology developed during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan†period. The state has approved the construction of a direct coal liquefaction project with an annual output of 5 million tons of coal in Inner Mongolia. Direct coal liquefaction plant process conditions are very harsh, the requirements imposed on the valve are very high: the medium temperature of 420-500 °C; working pressure 17-30MPa; solid particle content of 20-80%. The localization of valves for coal liquefaction is an urgent task for the valve industry.
