Hebei specializes in the treatment of highly toxic pesticides in vegetables to conduct sampling inspections in 60 major vegetable production counties across the province

Hebei Province has recently held a video and telephone conference on special high-violence pesticide control campaigns in major vegetable production areas. The meeting decided that in order to ensure the quality and safety of vegetables and promote the healthy development of the vegetable industry, Hebei Province will implement special high-toxicity pesticide control actions in the main vegetable production areas.

In this special action, the experts from the provincial and municipal agricultural product quality inspection centers will be sampled to form a vegetable sampling group, and sampling will be conducted on the vegetables in the 60 major vegetable production counties in the province. The test results will be notified in the province. For vegetable bases with pesticide residues exceeding the standard or violating the use of high-toxicity pesticides, they must be rectified within a time limit. If they fail to pass the review, they will resolutely ban their non-environmental pollution bases and punish the relevant units and responsible persons according to law.
