Automotive plastic fuel tanks are green and high-tech products introduced by the United States and the European Union, and are now widely used in the world. The product has the characteristics of impact resistance, anti-static, flame retardant, explosion-proof, anti-aging, non-pollution, etc. It can also be cast into various shapes according to the body and expand the space. Based on the digestion and absorption of foreign advanced technologies, Jiangsu Plastics Co., Ltd. cooperates with Changchun Yinghua Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hunan University, a Canadian university and a large-scale automobile manufacturing company, and has successfully developed a plastic fuel tank for automobiles by relying on advanced technologies. Formed a unique innovative ability and technological advantages, with independent research and development, design modeling and scale production capacity. According to the needs of customers, the company can independently develop 3 to 1000 liters of various types of single-layer, multi-layer plastic fuel tanks. In 2000, the company’s six-layer plastic fuel tank was the only project in the same industry that was included in the national “Torch Plan†and became a national high-tech product. The company was also named "National High-tech Enterprise."
In recent years, Plastic Light Company has continuously increased investment in infrastructure, established a new factory area, stepped up technological transformation and equipment upgrades, and invested more than 100 million yuan to bring in the world's advanced automotive six-story hollow machine and other equipment from Germany; Testing facilities, established a full-featured product testing center, formed a computer management network from the product's three-dimensional design and development, procurement and supply, production planning, storage management to customer service.
With the continuous expansion of the company's scale, the company now has a single-layer hollow 7 sets, multi-layer hollow 3 sets, with an annual output of 2.5 million plastic fuel tanks. The 320 to 1000-litre heavy-duty petrol and diesel plastic fuel tanks produced by the company were used by more than a dozen large automobile manufacturers such as FAW, Dongfeng, Beiqi Foton, Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck and so on. The demand for products was in short supply. The diesel fuel tanks produced by the company do not need to be fired again in winter because the automatic heating device is installed inside the fuel tank and it can be used within 5 minutes after starting. Before the Spring Festival this year, the product was used by the user for a few months in the harsh environment of Changchun -30°C. At present, this technology is applying for a patent.
