The staff then randomly selected three refuelling guns from each of them. Each of the guns was refueled with normal refueling and “Carton” refueling, and three high-flow and three low-flow inspections were conducted. The experimental results show that the maximum indication error is only four ten-thousandths of an inch, that is, four liters of error per 10,000 liters of refueling, all within the allowable error range (three-and-a-half thousandths) of the fuel metering verification procedures.

Industry experts believe that the refueling gun switch directly relates to the operation of the metering system. It is measured only when it is opened. The refueling pause only controls the refueling machine's meter operation and will not have any material impact on the refueling metering.

Why "Caltun" appears when refueling?

Therefore, it is intended to interrupt it and let the gas continue to refuel after the gas has been discharged or lowered. ”

The quality supervision department introduced that the fuel gun port has a self-sealing (jumping gun) device, which is very sensitive. The purpose is to prevent the oil in the fuel tank from overflowing when refueling. During the refueling, the oil is full and once it comes into contact with the self-sealing device, the refuelling gun will automatically shut off and automatically stop refueling, causing a "jump shot." There is also a kind of "jumping gun" that is not topped up. The tanker is airtight and refueling is based on the oil pressure in the tanker. Oil guns are under pressure and the oil splashes back to the muzzle, causing a "jump shot."

In addition, "jumping guns" are also related to temperature and refueling speed. The temperature is high, the oil in the fuel tank is under pressure, and the fuel pressure is increased too quickly. The oil in the tank is prone to splashes, causing a high frequency of “jump shots”.

It can be seen that the phenomenon of “jumping the gun” when the car is refuelling is a normal phenomenon. When the car owners encountered this situation during refueling, they did not need to worry about the shortage of oil.
