Sensata Completes Acquisition of Honeywell's Vehicle Sensor Business

The world-renowned automotive sensor and controller maker Sensata Technologies Holdings (NYSE: STNYSE) issued a press release on February 11 stating that the company had completed the acquisition of Honeywell's on-board sensor (AoB) business at the end of January. .

Sensata said that the above acquisition business products include camshaft sensors, crankshaft sensors, transmission sensors, vane-type sensors and turbocharger linear position sensors and wheel speed sensors, namely the magnetic speed position sensor product family (MSP for short). In 2009, the sales of these businesses reached 100 million U.S. dollars, and it is expected to reach nearly 130 million U.S. dollars in 2010. However, Sensata did not disclose the specific purchase amount.
