Statistics Bureau also announced that from January to September this year, the tire production totaled 585.55 million, an increase of 24% over the same period last year. In addition, in September this year, China's synthetic rubber production increased by 15% year-on-year to 278,000 tons; the first nine months of production totaled 2.27 million tons, an increase of 13% over the same period last year.
