The permanent magnet bearing turbine jointly developed by Jiangsu University, Suzhou Shenhua Low Temperature Complete Equipment Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu University Electromechanical Plant has successfully carried out a full load test recently, and the speed has initially reached 20,000 rpm.

However, Qian Kunxi, a professor at Jiangsu University, believes that “Enso only made a 'unstable' conclusion about the permanent magnet's suspension under static conditions, and did not come to a conclusion on the stability of permanent magnet suspension under dynamic conditions.”

Qian Kunxi team struggling to drill for 10 years, using the gyro effect of the permanent magnet suspension to introduce artificial heart pump, to achieve a stable balance. The experiment confirmed that after the permanent magnetic suspension rotating body reaches a certain speed, it can be suspended in a stable manner and generate a gyro effect. Under dynamic conditions, the greater the rotation of the permanent magnetic suspension machinery is, the more stable it is and the higher the rotation speed is, the more stable it is, laying the foundation for the perfection and industrialization of the permanent magnetic suspension machinery. His achievements have won 3 national patents.

According to Qian Kunxi, at present, developed countries use electromagnetic levitation technology to produce bearings. The problem is that the technology is complex and unreliable. Permanent magnet bearings have long service life and low cost. “If the material is not aged, permanent magnet bearings can be used for decades.”
