U.S. plastic machinery giant announces job cuts

Recently, Milacron of Ohio, USA, announced that it plans to lay off 10% of its business units in North America with a total of about 130 employees. Currently, layoffs are not announced.
Milacron applied for bankruptcy reorganization in March. By the end of June, the bankruptcy court had approved Milacron's sale of its assets to two investor groups (New York-based Avenue Capital Group and DDJ Capital Management LLC), and its debt will be inherited by both groups.

1. Characteristic:

Ferrochromium is the alloy of chromium and iron. According to the carbon content, it is divided high carbon ferrochromium (4.0%-9.0%), medium carbon ferrochromium(1.0% -4.0%), low carbon ferrochromium ( 0.2%-1%) and micro carbon ferrochromium(carbon less than0.15%)

2. Usage:

Ferrochromium is an important alloy additive for steelmaking (especially stainless steel) and cast iron. High carbon ferrochromium and medium carbon ferrochromium are used to produce general chromium steel, bearing steel and heat-resistant cast iron, wear-resistant cast iron and so on. Low carbon and micro carbon ferrochromium is mainly used to produce advanced chromium steel, such as stainless steel, heat resistant steel, acid resistant steel and so on.
