Before entering the winter, it is necessary to carry out seasonal maintenance of the sewage suction truck, and according to the task and characteristics, the truck is equipped with necessary emergency gear such as anti-skid chain, blow torch, triangle wood and so on.
When the cold car starts, the engine must be warmed up. Dongfeng windmill equipped with B series engine, optional cylinder heater and oil pan heater to keep the lubricating oil warm, or inlet flame preheating device. Wait until the water temperature reaches the prescribed temperature before starting.
Strengthen the maintenance of the battery. In the use of the generator can be used to increase the amount of charge, adjust the generator regulator, the voltage regulator in the charging circuit voltage higher than the summer of 0.6V, or replace the large-capacity battery and high-power starter. Especially in the severe cold regions, vehicles parked outdoors should be discharged indoors when necessary.
If the sewage suction truck has a long parking time or overnight, the cooling water must be drained and run idly for 1-2 minutes to evaporate the residual water to prevent the ice from propagating the engine block and the warm air equipment.
(5) Vehicles using pneumatic braking should always remove the accumulated water in the air reservoir. Note that the discharge valve may be frozen during the discharge process, the water will not be released, the storage capacity may be affected, and even freezing may block the pipeline.
Fill antifreeze. The selection of antifreeze and related precautions for use can be found in question 70.
If you are driving on ice and snow, you must control the speed, and try not to change gears. In the event of a side-slip in the suction truck, the engine speed should be reduced smoothly, and the steering wheel should be slid toward the side to restore the original driving direction of the car. Avoid emergency braking and use exhaust brake.
