Recently, Stena said that after 16 ships of the company's fleet installed Lemag's Slashpol E-WIF fuel quality improver in the past five years, fuel consumption and pollution emissions have been significantly reduced.
For the first time, the WIF equipment installed in the Stena fleet can also reduce black smoke when the ship is started, that is, where the selective catalytic reduction technology is installed, allowing the ship's chief engineer to use the reduced exhaust gas temperature to reduce the use of urea. .
It is reported that the entire Slashpol E-WIF system includes a torque meter, a Coriolis fuel gauge, a V-Per monitoring and management system, and a plug-and-play safety device. Lemag's technicians will be responsible for planning and installing these systems to ensure safe operation of the system. And efficient.
In addition, Lemag works closely with additive supplier Hybrid Fuel Technology (HFT) to produce specialized stabilizers that can be used on all fuels on the market to improve the stability of water and fuel emulsions. The combination of the above equipment and additives will significantly improve fuel economy while reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides, black smoke and solid particles, and carbon dioxide.
