A Breakthrough in the Remaining Oil Development of the Bulizhuang Buried Hill in Huabei Oilfield

China Petroleum News (Reporter Yue Shuangcai correspondent Yang Xuesong) in the Well Ma 42 Ping 1 in the No. 3 Production Plant of Huabei Oilfield, after continuous oil production and operation, on June 3, 4 mm oil nozzles were used for test production, and 52 tons of crude oil was injected from the spray to become North China. Another new bright spot for the development of oilfields and the development of oil exploration in buried hills.

The Bulizhuang Buried Hill, where the well is located, was put into development in 1977 and has so far passed 33 spring and autumn months. With the late development of the oil reservoir, the oil production has also dropped from the peak of 440 tons of Nissan to the current 23 tons, the comprehensive water content of the reservoir is as high as 97.1%, and the accumulated oil production is 1.63 million tons. The degree of production is 35.22%.

Around the distribution and development of the remaining oil in the buried hill, most of the past have been aimed at finding the high point of the buried hill. With the drilling of oil-distribution patterns in peripheral small-scale buried hills, high-angled faults, local residual highs, low-permeability areas, water cones, etc. in recent years, there is an urgent need to find a new model to implement the remaining oil distribution. This will further promote the further development of remaining oil in buried hills.

The technical personnel of the Third Institute of Geology at the No. 3 Oil Production Plant continued to innovate geological understanding, repeatedly performed comprehensive demonstrations, and consulted a large number of relevant literature materials. They asked a number of potential mountain exploration and development experts. Under the specific guidance of the Reservoir Evaluation Department of Huabei Oilfield Company, they boldly proposed The concept of remaining oil in the middle and low parts of the buried hill waist was further dissected by Bailianzhuang buried hill to finely describe the remaining oil distribution and the Ma 42 Ping 1 well was deployed on the northern slope of the buried hill.

On April 3, the drilling of the Ma 42 Ping 1 well drilled by 40517 teams drilled by the Bohai Co., Ltd. was drilled. During the drilling process, on-site drilling and well logging closely cooperated. The well site designers repeatedly performed on-site comparison of the horizons and drilled to the 2855 Mika quasi-mist fan interface, and successfully entered the Wuweishan formation, and drilled on May 2nd. Well depth 2878 meters with open hole completion. The well was put into operation on May 30, and the oil pipe produced 92 tons of crude oil per day without water.

The geological conditions of high oil-bearing wells in the high-position oil wells of the No. 3 Production Plant of Huabei Oilfield, after careful research, drilling in the lower part of the Ma 42 Ping 1 well, yielded high-yield self-injected crude oil, confirming the existence of remaining oil enrichment areas in the buried hills and waists. The direction of tapping potential for the remaining oil in the same type of reservoir was pointed out.

The fact that the residual oil from the Bailizhuang buried hill of the No. 3 Oil Production Plant has been broken through and the daily production of 52 tons of oil has been sprayed shows that the old buried-mountain reservoirs that have been in development for many years still have great potential. The potential lies in understanding the remaining oil distribution patterns. New breakthroughs have made it possible for existing oilfields to tap potentials in the high water cut period.
