The heavy truck non-complete vehicle (referred to as the chassis) has the lowest growth rate, which is 43.44%, but the total amount is still the highest among the three sub-categories, which is 381,500 vehicles.

The sales rankings of major mainstream heavy truck companies were FAW, Dongfeng, China National Heavy Duty Truck, Shaanxi Automobile, Beiqi Foton, Beiben Heavy Duty Truck, SAIC Iveco Hongyan, Anhui Hualing, Jianghuai, FAW sold 218,540 vehicles, up 70.4% year-on-year. The growth rate once again won the championship in the heavy truck industry. JAC ranked first in the industry with a growth rate of 99.6%, and exceeded its annual sales targets, making it among the top 10 companies in the domestic heavy truck industry.

In January-November 2010, apart from SAIC Iveco Hongyan, there is still a little distance from the annual sales target. Most of the heavy truck companies' sales from January to November have far exceeded the target set at the beginning of the year. However, it is worth noting that the sales growth rate of each car company in the second half of the year is much lower than the rate of increase from January to June. This shows that the market in the second half of the year has not experienced the boom and boom of the first six months. In addition, despite heavy sales in the heavy truck market, its market share has dropped from 97.94% in the same period last year to 96.53%.

In 2010, China's heavy truck production and sales volume is expected to exceed the million mark. Some companies inside and outside the industry are optimistic about the domestic heavy truck market outlook, and they are advancing toward the heavy truck industry. In addition, the Brilliance Group’s news of its advancement into heavy trucks is spreading wildly. When the industry has questioned the reliability of the news, BAI Yumin, chairman of Huachen Group, said publicly that it will fully enter the commercial vehicle sector, including the development of 4 to 10 tons of medium and heavy trucks. Huachen Group recently signed an agreement with the British special-purpose vehicle company, the Yingtian Group, to invest in the construction of light, medium and heavy truck production bases in Wujin High-tech Development Zone in Changzhou. This shows that in the future there will still be heavy truck recruits participating in the market competition.

As can be seen from the data, there are more than 30 domestic heavy truck companies, and heavy truck sales are mainly concentrated in the hands of the top five car companies, occupying 82.4% of the total, and the top ten car companies have a 96.5% share. If these heavy truck recruits want to win a place in the market owned by the old companies, they will have to make great efforts.
