“Financial Times†sources said that the British Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson suggested not to impose anti-dumping duties on air compressors from China. The European commissioners from Italy, Germany and France alone tried to veto this decision. This highlights that as the economic growth slows, the three countries are becoming increasingly sensitive. They demand that all 27 trade commissioners discuss this matter tomorrow. However, Mandelson said that these actions will be counterproductive.
