Isuzu is ready to send swords to the Russian market


It is reported that Japan’s famous commercial vehicle company Isuzu Motors announced on the 20th that it will assemble and manufacture small trucks in the Russian Far East city of Vladivostok, which is expected to produce 3,000 vehicles a year. Isuzu is the second Japanese car manufacturer to decide to launch production in the Russian Far East after Toyota.

Established in 1937, Japan Isuzu Motors Corporation is one of the world's largest and oldest commercial vehicle manufacturers. Its products are loved by users all over the world. At present, the output of Isuzu commercial vehicles and diesel engines is among the highest in the world.

At present, Japan’s Isuzu Motor Company has jointly produced light commercial vehicles in Beijing, Chongqing, and Jiangxi, among which light Isuzu vehicles produced in Chongqing already have world-class technology and quality.

Isuzu started production of the "Isuzu N Series" in April 2008 in Yekateru, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, and Russia's auto giant Sollers and Japan's major trading companies. In the future, Isuzu will transfer the production site from Yelab嘎 to the Solares factory in the center of Vladivostok. Parts are imported from Japan as before.

The predecessor of the Isuzu Motor Company was the Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding Establishment established in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo in 1916. In 1922, the A9 sedan was produced; in 1933, the company merged with Datsun Automobile Company. In 1937, the company merged with Tokyo Gas & Power Industrial Co., Ltd. and Kyoto Domestic Company to become Tokyo Auto Industry Co., Ltd.; in 1949, it was renamed Isuzu Motor Company. The company produces a large variety of cars and is a major manufacturer of heavy and light trucks. The cars produced have Gemini constellations and Yuma cards.
