"The tyres made with domestically produced molds are not of poor performance but have a very 'rough' appearance and have poor finish. According to reports, companies purchasing molds, prices are only one of the factors considered, and product quality and delivery speed are also indispensable. "The price is low, delivery is fast, and quality is good. We have no reason not to purchase such equipment," said one tire company technician.

The person in charge of the company's investment said that the tire molds produced in China have completely met the requirements of foreign-funded tire companies. Some of them are even better than foreign molds, and they have advantages in terms of prices. The market prospects are very promising.

After the quality of tire molds “spilled by leaps and bounds”, market demand has also steadily increased. According to the understanding, there is a close relationship between the replacement of the tire and the mold. As long as the tire structure is slightly adjusted, the mold must be changed accordingly. Users are increasingly demanding tires, prompting companies to continue to introduce new tires with high performance indicators, to “hold” old customers and “bring” new customers.

In recent years, foreign tire companies have gradually focused their attention on China and continuously expanded their production in China. Nowadays, foreign tire companies in China are increasingly inclined to buy local molds. According to analysis, if you go abroad to customize the mold, the price is not high, and the cycle is long. If the pattern needs a simple correction, it will take a lot of time and it will not be worth the candle.

In the 2011 tire mold industry rankings, the top three companies were Shandong Haomai Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Julun Mold Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Jieyang Tianyang Mold Co., Ltd., with annual sales of 12.8894 billion yuan. 7.7372 billion yuan and 4.5777 billion yuan.

Compared with the previous year, rankings did not change, but the sales of several companies have greatly improved. In 2010, the annual sales of these three companies were respectively 8.5644 billion yuan, 5.6177 billion yuan, and 1.4885 billion yuan.

At present, Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Michelin, Yokohama, Cooper, Kumho, Jiatong and other tire companies have all become partners in the above-mentioned “Big Die Big Three”.
