From January to July, 456 batches of 1979 units in Kunshan exported 33,300,000 US dollars, an increase of 96%, 100%, and 77% compared with the same period of last year, and the export volume increased significantly.

Kunshan had previously mainly exported diesel forklifts and gas forklifts. With the fluctuation of fuel prices, environmental protection awareness, and the introduction of China's government support policies, the newly-launched electric forklifts in the second half of the year fully met the national industrial policies and foreign consumers' environmental protection. Demand, the international market responded well.

Because electric forklifts are driven by electricity, compared with the internal-combustion engine forklifts, they have low noise and no exhaust emissions. Compared with manual forklifts, electric forklifts have less operating intensity and high efficiency. These advantages of electric forklifts have been recognized by the market and sales have increased year by year. For this reason, the inspection and quarantine authorities reminded exporting companies that technological innovation should be used as a source of enterprise development, enhance the international competitiveness of the handling vehicle products, use the rapid development of electronic control technology, and develop new products, making electric forklifts operate better and better.
