According to foreign media, René Umlauft took over as president of MAN Diesel & Turbo from September 1.

Former CEO of MAN Diesel & Turbos is Hans-O Jeske, who only serves as a transitional president. Now Jeske will return to his former position as technical director, mainly responsible for Mann's turbomachinery business. After Umlauft succeeded the president, he joined the company's board of directors and served as the executive director of the energy business department's board of directors.

Umlauft stated: "Although the company is currently in a transitional period from a single business to an integrated business, I have many years of experience. I am confident that I will accept greater challenges and promote the company's development."
