Yanshan Petrochemical's “Eleventh Five-Year” Revenue Nearly 300 Billion Yuan

The Sinopec Group issued a press release on December 9 that during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, its Yanshan Petrochemical company had realized a total revenue of 297.2 billion yuan and a profit tax of 32.3 billion yuan, an increase of 62.94% and 83.36% compared with the period of the "Tenth Five-year Plan."
During the same period, Yanshan Petrochemical processed 48.94 million tons of crude oil and produced 4.03 million tons of ethylene, which was an increase of 32.48% and 16.28%, respectively, compared to the "10th Five-Year Plan" period. Accumulatively, the country produced 4.68 million tons of gasoline and diesel, and 3.62 million tons of jet fuel.
Compared with 2005, the total energy consumption of this refinery only increased by 5.85% this year, while the comprehensive energy consumption per million output value dropped by 41.90%. According to public information, Yanshan Petrochemical is one of Sinopec's main refineries in North China, and its product oil is mainly supplied to Beijing and Tianjin.
