After the final joint strict inspection by MAN Patent Company, China Classification Society and Lloyd's Register of Shipping, the first large-scale butt-type crankshaft 12S90ME-C manufactured by Dalian Heavy Industry Huarui Crankshaft Co., Ltd. was successfully launched. This is Dalian Heavy Industry. After becoming Doosan Heavy Industries and Hyundai Heavy Industries, the third company in the world successfully produced such crankshafts.

As the key component of marine engines, marine crankshafts are known as the "heart" of marine diesel engines and play a vital role in the safety of ships. The 12S90ME-C docking crankshaft has a total length of 23.06 meters and a weight of 458.7 tons. It will be installed on the world's largest and latest 21000TEU standard container freighter diesel engine built by China for the first time. This is also the case after Dalian Heavy Industry successfully produced the first large-scale butt-type 11S90ME-C crankshaft in China, the world's first longest-stroke longest and single-weight 7G80ME-C crankshaft.
