In order to eradicate the proliferation of automotive perfumes, three representatives from the Fuzhou two parties, Xie Zhifeng and others, submitted yesterday's proposal on the development of a vehicle perfume inspection standard as soon as possible.

The representative stated that there are many types of car perfume on the market, ranging in price from a dozen to a few hundred dollars. According to relevant investigations, at present, more than 90% of car perfumes on the market are three-free products, and they are generally blended with industrial alcohol. This not only fails to refresh the mind and purify the air, but also pollutes the air in the car twice and disperses the driving. The attention of the staff affects the safety of driving. The use of inferior perfumes can cause symptoms such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Long-term use may result in olfactory sensation, decreased visual acuity, and serious cancer.

At present, there are no clear inspection standards, industry standards and regulatory departments for vehicle perfumes. Therefore, it is a blind spot for supervision. However, according to the relevant regulations in the Product Quality Law, three non-products are themselves unqualified products. Because there is no relevant inspection standard, the administrative department lacks a detailed basis for law enforcement supervision, so that illegal operators are still able to take advantage of the production and sales process.

Therefore, it is recommended that the legislature formulate the quality standards for car perfumes as soon as possible or specify the quality standards that should be referenced, so as to strictly control the source of production and eliminate the excessive use of car perfume.
