According to statistics, as of the end of May this year, the Shaoguan section of the Guangle Expressway has completed an investment of 18 billion yuan since its commencement, accounting for 95% of the total investment. The project is currently in the survey and design stage. It is planned to start construction at the end of 2014 and be completed and opened to traffic in 2018.
The entire section of the Shaoguan section of the Kunming Expressway is in Wengyuan County. The total length of the project is about 45 kilometers and the investment is estimated at 4.3 billion yuan. The two-way four-lane highway design standard is adopted throughout the line.
